The Baskatong and Diable Mountain provide Windigo Village with a full range of exciting activities in a unique outdoor setting whose charm and beauty changes with the passing seasons.
Four seasons of enjoyment…
In summer…

…the particularly inviting waters of the Baskatong, dotted with unspoiled pine-green islands, delight both beach lovers and water sports enthusiasts. Here they can enjoy swimming, kayaking, pedal boats, pontoon boats, motor boats, volleyball, badminton, pétanque and horseshoes.
The 125 kilometres of magnificent trails marked and maintained by the Friends of the Mountain offer hiking aficionados an unparalleled choice. Our lighted clay tennis courts will satisfy the most competitive players. After a day filled with activities, enjoy one of our weekly theme evenings on subjects as varied as local flora and fauna, geology, classical music, wine tasting, relaxation and more.
In fall…

…a well-lit and carefully-maintained cedar boardwalk leads visitors to the year's most breathtaking sight: the brilliant colour of Canada's fall forests. This superb trail is open all year round.
In winter…

Windigo Village is located at the very centre of an immense network of specially marked and maintained snowmobile trails which crisscrosses the province. It also provides access to the large network of marked trails on and around the Diable Mountain. The result is that Windigo Village is the perfect place to enjoy adventure tourism, walking, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, dog-sledding, sliding, skating and more.
In spring…
